Ethiopia Keeping Girls in School (KGIS) project has organized a sensitization workshop in line with the “International Adolescent Health Weeks” at Amobo Town /Oromia region. During the workshop, Ethiopia KGIS working group members who took TOT has presented about KGIS project on one hand and the link between girls education and their health / wellbeing. Presentations on Reproductive Health, substance abuse, personal hygiene etc were amply discussed. The workshop mainly aims at mobilizing the stated participants to be a prime advocate and champions of keeping girls in school. In the workshop, a total of 30 secondary school students representing from Youths and Women clubs/groups were attended. In addition, selected Religious /Traditional Leaders attended the workshop and shared their aged old experiences in community mobilization, advice / mentor youth and women to be the best model in their community to achieve overall purpose of KGIS project.
